1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Bookkist, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

2. Financial Disclaimer (Crucial)

Bookkist is a tracking tool, not a financial advisor.

• The content and data provided by the app are for informational and organizational purposes only.
• We are not responsible for any financial decisions, investments, or losses you make based on data in this app.
• You should always consult with a qualified professional financial advisor for specific financial advice.

3. Prohibited Data (Sensitive Information)

You explicitly agree NOT to enter highly sensitive personal financial information into the application's text fields (such as Notes, Titles, or Descriptions). Do NOT enter:

• Bank Account Passwords or PINs
• Credit Card CVV numbers
• Full Credit/Debit Card numbers
• Government IDs (Aadhar, SSN, Passport numbers)

Bookkist is designed to track amounts and categories, not to store credentials. We are not liable for any security breach resulting from you voluntarily entering such sensitive data.

4. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

• We do not guarantee that the data will always sync perfectly or that the service will never have downtime.
• In no event shall Bookkist or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data) arising out of the use of our service.
• It is your responsibility to maintain your own local backups if needed.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure.
• If you share a "Book" with another user, you understand that they will be able to see all transactions within that specific Book.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
